The artist painted Refracted Woman #1 back in early 2020, which was the first piece she ever sold. It has now become one of her bestselling series.

The works revolve around geometric relationships. Kathryn rotates circle and oval templates to create the shapes as opposed to hand drawn lines.

This has been a favorite technique that Kathryn uses to challenge herself as an artist and play a little mental “game”. She commented, “it’s like my rudimentary brainstem understood it before I did.”
